I lived with my parents for the first 26 years of my life. Most of my friends were in a hurry to get out into the world on their own, but I was content with staying home, getting a quality education, and saving as much money as I could. I ended up graduating at 23, then I worked for three years before I got married. My wife and I did not move in together until we were married, so setting up our new home was pretty exciting. The first thing I did was look up ADT Indianapolis as soon as the closing was completed.
Living with my parents for so long gave me an education on how to run a household too. They were very transparent in the things they did so I along with my three brothers could learn how to take care of ourselves when we did go out on our own. We have had a security system through ADT for as long as I can remember, and it has always made me feel really good knowing that help is coming automatically should something happen. That covers more than just someone trying to gain unlawful entry into our home too.
That means that if a fire would start in our house, the monitoring agency is going to send the fire department out. If there is a carbon monoxide leak, the fire department is also going to be called. If someone is trying to break in, the police department is going to be contacted. It just made sense to both my new wife and I to make sure we had a security system in place before we even moved in so we could have that extra protection instantly available to us. Now that I am on my own with my own family, I am hoping to raise our children the exact same way my parents raised me!
